I’m excited to announce that I’ll be seeking re-election to the Durham City Council this fall — and I need your help!
Since joining the council in 2015, I’ve been dedicated to making sure that Durham is a city where all voices are heard and everyone can thrive. By leading new initiatives like participatory budgeting and supporting investments in affordable housing, green infrastructure, and economic development, I’ve been a champion for our shared progressive values and helped turn the City of Durham into a national model for resident engagement and inclusion.
I’ve been fortunate to have fabulous colleagues to do this work with, and I’ve teamed up with Council Members Javiera Caballero & Charlie Reece to write the Bull City Together Platform. This is our unified vision for the future of the city we’re building together. Over the course of the campaign, we’ll release concrete policy proposals that will help us achieve our vision of a Durham that works for all of us. We make a great team, and we’re excited to work for this city together.
